The LSE German Symposium is student-lead conference at the London School of Economics and Political Science held once a year. Founded in 2002, it attracts around 3000 participants and around 40 speakers every year.
The German Symposium gathers high-profile European, German, and British leaders from socio-economic, cultural, business, and academic fields to discuss current issues relevant to the European context and Anglo-German relations. By encouraging a discussion between all participants of the Symposium, whether it be speakers or students, the aim is to establish an enlightening debate on Germany, the United Kingdom, and their role within Europe and the World.
